Saudade death waltz their debut album New HandsAfter 5 decades of Cape Verdian music, Marcos' self released LP is a surprising discovery. Produced in 1984 in a Portuguese studio with backing from Paulino Vieira and 80's Cape Verdean luminaries such as Chibanga on drums, it may be the pinnacle of Funana music.
